Herbal tea is basically an infusion made from anything other than the leaves of a tea bush. Another name for Herbal teas are "tisane". They can be made from fresh or dried flowers, leaves or roots. It is caffeine-free. There is a limitless variety of herbal teas.
Infusion is the best method for brewing leaves, flowers, berries or seeds. Boil a good quantity of water and pour it over the herbs. Allow it to steep for 5-10 minutes. The longer you steep, the stronger the taste.
